From memory the crane was a bit of a clunker with 4.5v. Let us know how it goes with 9volts in the back ! Steve (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

I recently acquired the two first Technic Idea books. The pictures included leave me hungry for more. Is there anyone here who has built the larger models AND took some pictures of them ? I would be anxious to see them (and any variation made to (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Here's a reliable scheme for controlling unmodified switch points with pneumatics. This scheme is for use on track that is raised up off the baseplate in modules. I have reduced the depth required below the track to a minimum of 9 plates in the (...)
