  Problem registering on BZPower

I tried to create an account on BZPower a couple of days ago. I never recieved a confirmation e-mail but have managed to logon using the details I entered (username talltim) but I then can't use most functions such as posting or looking up members. (...)   High Failure Rate of New Type 9V Geared Motor

Bad tidings! I'm experiencing a rather high failure rate with the new type 9V geared motor (#43362). This motor has been discussed before ((URL) motor can be easily recognised: when you twirl the shaft it turns very little and quickly comes to a (...)   Re: Road Grader

Nate- Compliments go out to the design of the grader! I like the way you used the pneumatics in the front steering (I guess I was wrong about the length of the piston arm!). On your other creation, the road scraper, do you also plan to use (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pictures of New technique: Cascaded Trinary Pneumatics (aka mid-stop)

In lugnet.technic, Mark Bellis wrote: <snip> (...) Mark, I've tried to study the pictures, but I cannot resolve the mechanical linkages, and/or the pneumatic hookups. I was going to try to draw up a schematic, but I just can't resolve the images. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Bionicle Muaka and Kane-ra 8538 instructions scans needed

Hi. I recently bought a used dusty set 8538 ( Muaka and Kane-ra) (URL) There were no instructions, as often happens when buying used sets. I could not find instruction scans neither on Peeron (URL) nor on (URL) There are sets of the same (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pictures of New technique: Cascaded Trinary Pneumatics (aka mid-stop)

(...) Hi Kevin, Yes, the bottom right stage is the control stage, with 2 active switches. I left the third one in to keep the stability with the cams and 2L liftarms so that the 1x4 brick with holes moves as a parallelogram. I got into the habit of (...)   Re: Pictures of New technique: Cascaded Trinary Pneumatics (aka mid-stop)

(...) Hi Mark, cool stuff! I guess that the ganged switches on the far right are the switch stage, but I don't know what the other two large blocks are, or how they work. One thing I learned early with documenting MOCs, is to never use black when (...) (19 years ago, 15-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Akira-inspired motorcycle

(...) Cool! I ask because I tend to build things that perform (robots), and I'm always looking to find ways to speed things up. I haven't seen a geared motor geared up before. I have worked a lot with the old motors (ugh, never going back again), (...) (19 years ago, 14-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
