This model incorporates geared steering (I don't need to tell you how difficult it is to turn the darn thing! If you are to build something as complex and big as this, DO NOT go for geared steering. (19 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Hey nice chasis, I like the underside shot where you can see all the steered wheels. Hmmm, what are your thoughts on the strength of the center of the chasis? Looks like some more latice work will come in to play when you keep building to keep it (...) (19 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi Steve, I literally mean broken. I changed some of the beams to get a different color, and in thbe process created a hose cutter (not unlike a paper cutter) and unwittingly sliced hoses. this is my latest creation, a pneumatic cat343 uses almost the same schema as the quad 343 only the leg structure is diverent and this one have a tail :) it uses his back to change the distanse bitween his frond and his back leg's tis one is more (...) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi Mark, not sure what LEGO flex tubes are made of, but I've had good results with 1/8" polystyrene model makers tubing which comes in 24" lengths in most hobby shops.
