Re: Dave Schilling's pneumatic parlor trick

(...) Is it because the extension side of the piston face has a greater surface area than the retraction side? The connection between the piston face and the piston rod accounting for the difference. Steve (19 years ago, 16-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Dave Schilling's pneumatic parlor trick

While at Brickfest I had the chance to meet Dave Schilling again. Dave is a very knowlegable technic/robotics builder. I also got the pleasure to meet his brother Phil. What a couple of nice guys. Since this stopped the legs from completing their stride, I did not synchronize leg sweep. As Brickfest went (...) (19 years ago, 16-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Simplest steerable car chassis

(...) As I see this, it depends on what generation of "steering gear" elements you have. There are a number of different variants. You may even _not_ have some specialized steering elements. This will not make your task impossible, but a tad more (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Simplest steerable car chassis

Hi all I want to build a simple steerable car chassis to help my daughter with her driving lessons :-) (Particularly with visualising what happens to the wheels when backing up, which is being a bit of a challenge). Can someone point me to (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)
