Does anyone have any suggestions for storing low-repetition minifig torsos (and heads)? I'm thinking of those torsos (like those in Island Xtreme sets) which are sufficiently distinctive that you would only use one or two of each in a layout, while (...) I have big 3-inch binders which are loaded with plastic sleeves. Each theme has it's own binder. I then organize them by size, with the smallest in photo-sleeves, then up through full size. Folks- I'm interested in picking up some of those luscious Akro-Mils cabinets with 64 polypropylene drawers. I had my hands on one at my local Ace Hardware--nice! (...) Excellent, I can make labels for those parts that Jeff Boen didn't make. How does Parts Catalog detect the LDraw directory? Maybe I missed something in the program but I had to manually edit the PartsCat.ini file in order for Parts Catalog to (...) Parts Catalog 0.0.37 can now make labels for your part bins. i just finished adding label printing to Parts Catalog. Incase you don't know Parts Catalog is a program used to make inventories. it imports and exports lots of different formats and is (...) Elroy & All, (...) There have been a lot of good suggestions here already, here is how I do it. (URL) sort via size, and then number. I have an index for quick finding. My collection has gotten to the point where tossing the instructions from all the sets into a cardboard box just isn't working any more.
