Actually... if you see any of the production models used in filming, there is
a LOT of blue. The blue just doesn't translate that well to the screen. If
TLC used actual props to model after, I could see where the use of blue came
from. I still don't like it either, but I can understand it.

| (...) Exactly.. alot of the imperial model ties are in fact shades of blue. If it wasn't the case lucasfilms probably would not have approved the current toys production if the colors are wrong [ie. lets say they made the millenium falcon green or (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)
