B-Wing question

I've yet to see a B-Wing on the shelves of my local stores, and I can't
remember them clearly enough from the films, so I'll ask.
  Do B-Wings require Astromechs for operation?  Are they Hyperdrive-capable?
What about A-Wings, while I'm at it?

(...) All of the Rebellion's fighter's are hyperdrive-capable. Neither the A-Wing or B-Wing require an astromech, as they as newer and have on-board nav computers. The B-Wing does come with an astromech for some reason. I would have rather seen (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)
