Why TLG has not made a tie fighter

The way I see it, if I was TLG I would use black satrwars wings for the
solar panels. problem:
1.TLG does not make black wings, therefore another part needed.
Would there be any other model that could use those parts?
(just looked at the picture of the new technic/modelteam/whatever darth
vaders tie and it looks like black starwars wings on the front)
2.The set would come with 8 of the pieces, which would be a bit much for
a part of that size. (then again look at some of the other large
sets/parts)
