I don't know if anyone is interested, but I have made a fairly decent Episode
1 C-3P0 and would like to share!!!The Lego pieces you will need consist of an
Exploriens/Spyrius android head,a battle droid body,and one skeleton arm(this
will be his neck). You will also need sandpaper and a model or spaypaint of
your choosing.I chose Design Master spraypaint.A big thanks to Craig Hamilton
for the suggestion. It truly is the best for changing the color of an element.
The first thing you will need to do is paint the battle droid parts and
skeleton arm.I chose platinum but a dark grey would be more accurate.Paint
outside, wear a smock and a type of mask as to not breathe in fumes.Next after
the paint dries you should sand the joint part of the skeleton arm down to a
snug fit when the android head is fitted on.If anyone has any suggestions on
another idea for a neck please post on Lugnet. Last and certainly not
least,assemble him.You should put the arms,legs,and head on backwards.This
will give C-3P0 his trademark circle as well as provide him with the humpback
shape he appears to have in The Phantom Menace.Voila,an Episode 1 C-3P0!Again
if anyone has another suggestion for a neck please post or e-mail.
Thanks,
Sean Frantz
P.S.
Has anyone made a Ki-Adi-Mundi(the conehead Jedi Master) or a Yarael Poof(the
long-necked Jedi Master)?

| (...) As I hear tell it, Yarael Poof is of the same "race" as Gasgano, the podracer. I guess he'd be made much the same way. LFB. (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| (...) Nope, but here's how I'd do it: 'wizard' beard, standard smiley face, and one of those 1x1 yellow cones on top. (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)
