Well, Zeller's last night was absolutely nuts - at least partly because it
was hyped up on the evening news earlier, I suspect. Anyway, I was somewhere
between 50th and 100th to get there, judging from the cars in the lot, and the
people inside, and was able to get one of each of the sets they had, which was
everything except the Naboo Fighter, for some bizarre reason.
Well, I wanted to get the Fighter, so I wandered past a Walmart on my lunch
break, on the off-hand chance they would have something in. I was pleasantly
surprised - they had everything except the Mos Espa Pod Race set! I honestly
didn't expect Walmart Canada to be this much on the ball - I hadn't seen any
SW classic there at all, and they didn't have 99 sets at all until early March.
So, I'm again SW complete. I suspect that, given what I've seen so far at
Zellers, Walmart and TRU, that (locally, at least) there's plenty of Lego to
go around, this time.
Any other Canucks try the Zellers thing? I found it kind of fun, just to see
the milling crowd, and get the contact high from so many hyped fans.
