It was a madhouse. The only thing thing people were grabbing was the
action figures. They would bring a cart out to an empty aisle and say
over the PA "Last cart in aisle c14", and people would just run. I
hope my wounds leave scars. The hardest figure to get was Mace Windu
and Darth Maul. We got lucky and got 8 Mauls, actually bought 5 of
them. No R2 figures. They didn't even bring all the Lego out. Not that
that many people were buying them anyway. I almost poked some guy's
eye out while pulling out a Maul from a cart. Somebody was an idiot
and took their 6 month old baby and it looked like it had a black eye.
The worst were the people who were not fans and were grabbing stuff.
They had no idea who the characters were, one of them kept calling
Mace Windu Samuel. I know that's who plays him but please don't insult
the rest of us. Overall it's been a good night. I don't think my store
has any idea of what is going to hit it tomorrow.
