Indeed, there are always exceptions to the rule.

(not always the best accessories, granted---many sets come with halberds
and crowns where better weapons and helmets would be more useful).

Then perhaps i should have clarified...
My qualms reside with the fact that TLC has a huge selection of various pieces
from years of inventory from countless system sets. It is IMHO that TLC should
consolidate their gains and intermingle parts from different themes more often
into other system sets.

For example:
Do you see how well the Pirates back-pack and Town Hair-piece works!

And the way in which the new Orient Halberdier works,
along with the Star Wars hoods, both brown and black:

Is it too much to ask for a Space fig to have some old-skool Castle body armor
to represent a ‘life-support vest,’ or for a Castle fig to have a ‘peg-leg.’!!!
~I think not, TLC can be creative enough with its already massive inventory to
no longer produce new pieces, but rather to use their existing accessories in
more dynamic ways...

I just feel that TLC should be more creative with what they have, and rely less
upon new molds and insane colors choices.

                             `End rant,
