Darth Vader's head

I just had a quick question that I was hoping someone could answer. I've got
all the Star Wars sets except for the Tie/Y-wing set with Vader (I work in a
toy store and I came in for my shift and found out that it had come in and
sold out just like that. Ridiculous). I've heard rumours that the head is
appropriately disfigured beneath the mask. True or vicious lies deserving vile
punishment? (Sorry if this has already been discussed- I'm new.)

Darth Vader's head is gray and its got a couple squiggly lines on the left side of his face. It is rather sad looking, but not obviously grotesque. -John Van (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Yep, his head is grey but not dark grey. He's got bags under his eyes. His eyebrows are a small frown. He's got a large scar on the left side of his face, and a smaller scar on the left side of his forehead. His mouth is kinda pouty. I was (...) (26 years ago, 21-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)
