    Problems with 8009: R2-D2 —Chris Comeaux
   I was wondering if anyone else had these same problems. First, instead of the right angle piece numbered 6 used in the feet, I got similar pieces numbered 5. Also, the lever on the side of the droid does nothing. I'm pretty sure it should knock the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars)

   (...) The lever on the side is not a lever-- it's a socket probe or tool, like in the first movie. The lever in the back pops this out.    (...) yes, but I only got one. I think it's so you can replace the trans-blue one on R2-D2's head. Sometimes in the movies that little blue light turns red. It's like the orange shoulder bit in the stormtrooper set, or the alternate colors in the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars)
