MLCad is what I use, I really can't speak for anyone else though. I used
straight LDraw for awhile, but if you don't know all of the keys you spend
alot of time flipping around through the menus. I also used LeoCad for
awhile, but IMO MLCad is much better. I used MLCad to "datify" my AT-ST
(alternate model for the Snowspeeder) and I'm currently using it to datify
my Imperial Shuttle.
I plan to use MLCad for all future MOCs, but I will continue building them
IRL first. I feel that "datifying" my MOCs in conjunction to taking
pictures is a good way to share them. I doubt I'll ever create anything
solely in MLCad however, simply because I love building... :) I see MLCad
as a good supplement to building, but not a substitute for it.
