Re: Cloud City of Bespin MOC

(...) Beautiful, Todd - as usual! It'd be great to see it in person (hint, nudge). For someone who's been away from the Brick for a while, you still do great work! Your minis looked way cool too! Wayne (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

(...) Iirc, I thought there was the outline of the cuffs in the carbonite connecting the hands. But it's been a long time since I watched eps 5 and 6 (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

(...) That is freakin' fantasic. You've captured the pained expression remarkably well, and I particularly like how you did the hands. One thing I've always wondered about the ol' Hansicle though: When he was lowered into the pit his hands were (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars)

  Cloud City of Bespin MOC

Hello SW fans... After a little inspiration from the mini line of sets, and finally breaking out the brick after an almost 2 year stint from building, I attempted to build a model of Bespin. Overall I don't think it looks too bad. Granted I know the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

Here's my latest SW addition: An actual size replica of Han Solo frozen in carbonite.   Re: New MOC: Snowspeeder

Hey cool, I like how compact it is. It looks like you can hold it in the palm of your hand. The smoke colored windsheilds really make it. The use of the small grey wings is very nice to see. I just had to reply after seeing the shapes flow like (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Snowspeeder

(...) Nice tweaks, Bruce. I've always really liked this guy with the exception of one thing....the grey plate for the roof. When I see the shot with it off, it looks awesome. If I may, a recent element has come around that may offer a solution (if (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Yet another Mini AAT set 4492

Re: DSM Trash Compactor and Dio Crisis

(...) If you've seen the other modules, you can tell that it's not about movie accuracy that I'm going for in these. In time you'll see the merged modules in one complex as there's just a couple more to go. Regards, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Battle Droid care and maintence?

Has anyone noticed that your battle droids loose their stiffness if left together? Has anyone figured out a remedy to tighten them up? The ones I've had together for a year barely stand now, they'd rather bend in half then stand erect. Thanks TFM (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: DSM Trash Compactor and Dio Crisis

Re: DSM Trash Compactor and Dio Crisis

(...) Those arms came from an Ogel set and if you check back on the previous DSM Incinerator, you'll see that the two modules connect through. The arms feed the trash to the incinerator. Thanks, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.starwars)
