being a rabid fan of the Online comic "Sinfest", as well as a frequent
poster to the forum there (ok... replace "frequent" with "incessant"), I
decided to start making models of the things I described in the role-play
threads. as the current thread is a space-war thread, I created a series of
"Sincraft" for use by my mercenary forces. (if you're like me and check
brickshelf, religiously, five times a day or more, then you've already seen
these.) anyway, here goes.

The "Sinfighter" -Designed to be carried aboard smaller capital ships, the
Sinfighter is a powerful ship in a tiny package. it's powerful engine and
lightweight alloy fuselage make it the fastest combat craft in my arsenal.
it's only standard weapon, two forward-firing heavy lasers, have enough
power to melt gundanium, making the sinfighter extremely useful when dealing
with mecha-equipped foes. the relatively low poer consumption of these
lasers has resulted in them being standard on all craft based on the "Sin
Core".

The "Sinbomber" -the sinbomber is based on the sinfighter, and is designed
to take on enemy capital ships. a slow craft, relatively speaking, the
sinbomber's enhanced armor allows it to survive most punishment on the way
to the target, and it's four heavy lasers, two additional weapons mounted at
the wingtips, allow it to burn holes in enemy armor, should the situation
require it. mounted atop the wing, just outboard of the engine housing, are
two "lancer" heavy anti-armor missiles. their shap is designed to penetrate
an enemy hull, then blast a hole in it large enough to allow other munitions
in. the bulbous weapons are "Fat Man" low-yield nuclear weapons. then comes
the "Hydra" light multi-missile and the "Starfire" laser explosive device.
the starfire is equipped with a laser and a powerful amplification system.
on detonation, the stored energy in the system is released, while the laser
continues to pour energy into it. the end result is a laser "explosion". on
the underside of teh wing are six "wadcutter" anti-armor torpedos and two
EMP torpedos. the Sinbomber is truly a force to be reckoned with.

the "Sin-interceptor" or "Sinterceptor" -the most agile attack craft in my
arsenal, the Sinterceptor (which the pilots call "the lethal asterisk") is
purpose-built to take down the targets which are too heavily armored for the
Sinfighter, and too fast for the Sinbomber. it's Sin Core has been modified
with a much larger engine, as well as the densest armor we could give it. it
carries the standard heavy laser cannons mounted on either side of the
cockpit, as well as two heavy plasma beams on the mid-wings, and two ion
miniguns on the lower wings. the Sinterceptor is also no slacker in the
guided weapons area, carrying eight wadcutter missiles on the upper wings,
with space for four more on the forward midwing, and another ten on the
lower wings. it also has four heavy weapons clamps, to let it carry anything
from supplemental power pods, to "apocalypse-class" planetary nuclear
weapons. only the best pilots are allowed to fly the Sinterceptor, but their
kill ratio with this craft is frightening.

Hi Anthony, your ships 'aint bad.
I especially like the interceptor; its got a bit of a fast, manouvreable
look to it. The only thing I think that they need is a bit of finer
detaling; you know, tiles and grilles on the wings for decoration, etc.
Overall, pretty good.
