The Confed/ALiens has an update of ships, and some are neat.

The first is the Crucible-Class Cargo Ship (Colony Placement)
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=4205 . This ship is equipped
with 4 standard cargo modules and a large supply module on front, this was
the ship that 'started' the Trk'Pahn-Terran War. The Crucible-Class ship was
chartered by colonists to the planet Nephilim. The ships landed and set up
base camp, and 'awoke' the Trk'Pahn. In this picture, you can see it's
incredible length http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41821 and
how the gravity is provided by a central rotating section. Here
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41830 the length of the
vessel from 50m above the connection pylon between the first and second
modules is exaggerated. The close up of the Command module here
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41831 clearly shows the
hanger bay, where the variety of cargo sleds and shuttles is stored that the
colony might use. Here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41832
is a Crucible thrusting to a colony site.

The next ship is the Taureg Shakiri-Class Cruiser
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=4089 , first encountered
here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=40756 by the
Phoenix-Class TCS Amadeus. Using a vertical hull design, rather then the
horizontal, this Taureg Cruiser is everything from a cruiser to a cruise
ship. The Shakiri's Vertical stature is shown here...
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=40754 and here
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=40755 .

The next ships is the Raxisian Bravari-Class frigate
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=4196 . It's weapons systems
are placed on four large vanes, where when they fire, they converge at the
center nose of the ship and make a four-fold energy cannon. The Bravari is
the only ship known to Confed that does not use ethier a Tiberdyne-like
engine or a NT-like engine. Instead, it uses 5 nozzled engines,
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41615 and generates an
incredible amount of thrust
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41619 . This is a pic of the
Bravari leaving a planet at sunrise...
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41618 .

The next (more..) is the Hiroshima-Class Cargo/Diplomacy Refit ship
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=4193 . This ship is one of
Confed's OLDEST ships. It is one of the first UPL ships. The Hiroshima/D is
the Diplomacy transport version, with no weapons at all, and a fighter
squadron of 6 piranhas. This ship has a bare minimum. Here the Hiroshima
waits for some diplomats http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=41611 .

That seems to be all. LMKWYT, I spent alot of time on these ships (excluding
the Bravari, I only pass on Jamal Coleman's work). As you can see, I'm
playin around in Phtoshop 5.5.

Rick
