...though not necessarily lego related except as inspiration, today marks
the 40th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's historic flight aboard Vostok-1.

It also marks the 20th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle launch.
Astronauts John Young and Robert Crippen kept OV-102 Columbia in orbit for
two days in this first orbital test of the Space Shuttle.
