Hi,
I would normally say that a ship with those dimentions would be fine with
ladders or stairs. I agree with a lot of the other people saying its right
on the borderline... I normally only see a lift if the ship has 3 or more
levels, especially if they are more than 7 or 8 bricks high. A mix is good
too, like some one said. With all that said, after looking at your (very
cool) ship, it is very sleek looking, and I think that it really deserves a
lift of some sort in addition to a couple ladders or something.
