So I imagine the service from pair.com will be the basic right? It has 50 mb
space so that should be more than enough. To compare the GS has only taken
up about 2 to 3 mb so far so we should be able to put plenty of stuff on the
new site and have space left over for expansion.

One thing I was curious about was the lack of cgi access with this plan. I
don't know anything about automation yet but in the future do you think we
would ever want to have elements of the site automated? Such as a database
and search engine. Anyway thats a long way off and its gonna be great
without that now.

Mark- When you would like to chat about this I guess I could join the
darkside ; ) and grab instant message. I'm really excited about throwing
around ideas and deciding what the different sections of the site will be.

It will be mainly links, yes, but we will have a small amount of space for
pictures of characters and such.

Most likely, Jon Palmer and myself will run it, with Jon doing HTML and me
doing graphics.

All of this sounds really cool, but since I haven't been very caught up
with the entire Space World idea, can someone please give what has been
decided on, up-to-date.  Is it still going to be a site of links?  Who • will
run it?  Sorry for being behind.

(...) Cool. Sounds good. (...) We could always upgrade at a later time to one of the plans that supports cgi. I don't know how to program anything, so you'll have to let me know what kinds of stuff you're thinking about. (...) :^) Excellent. As (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space)
