As originally reported
here, the strange
object discovered on the Martian surface has been destroyed. Details follow.
The strange object encountered on Mars by advance units of the MM Central
Command was deemed to be dangerous based on the ill effects it had on all
personnel that came close to it.
Once Master Control was able to assemble enough heavy units in place, the order
was given to level the object.
At first, most vehicles and personnel found it tough going since the object
resisted all initial attempts to remove it.
As more force was brought to bear, the structure finally started to yield and
began to implode.
Once the demolition was completed, the astronauts all returned to normal with no
lasting ill effects. Peace was returned to the Martian landscape.
So they thought...
