Just when you thought Classic Space buggies couldn’t get any smaller than the 886 . . .

“Set” 886 & 1/2. This little electric buggy won’t leave you stuck in a crater. And if it does, you can simply pick it up and carry it out. So, don’t worry about the absence of backup front-end air tanks. You won’t need them. Besides, those air tanks on the ever-present Space Buggy (known to some as the “Astro Car”) had a tendency to explode during front-end collisions. The unfortunate who’s still resting in the crater can attest to this single big drawback to the larger 886.

The Mini Buggy is particularly energy efficient, and has a decent range and speed, especially on smooth runways. The smart nano-batteries can be recharged in a few minutes via a standard high-voltage space plug.

-best,

Wolf

The model and your description made me chuckle insanely. I love those small wheels. Good to see you rejuvenating the .space! (18 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
