Btw, can you tell us about the two modlex transformers? Those rock.

The two which fit in the dropship were made as somewhat smaller verions of the
bigger ones in my other galleries. Downsizing was accomplished mainely by using
the knights kingdom hinges (2x3) instead of two standard (2x2) ones. Also the
side of the modlex were limited to 1 additional brick on both sides so they can
fit both in the hangar bay.
In robot mode they are very usefull on any location as they can be used to build
large bases or for defence. Once transformed theyre mainly used as fighters or
as espionage ships. Theyre fast, and whith a surprise if discovered.
What makes a modlex so useful - besides the obvious stated above - is that only
a small hangar and a few technical personel can adapt the transforming mode from
a speeder to a plane, a car, a boat for incursion on a technologically young
planet or they can be made into ultra-sophisticated intersideral space fighters.
Finally the two above were fun to build, have a high playability rate and they
can even be taken on vacation, together with a few pieces they can last for
hours of fun - if youre tired from the swimming or musea, that is.
cheers,
Didier
ps: Theyll be at legoworld in Zwolle (NL) later this year.
