Re: Carefree Party Liner (with wings)

(...) The symmetry is pleasing and the trans-blue provides a retro liner window reference, I have some second-hand bricks somewhere with a similar pattern. The concentrations of colour work well and the detailing gives a good idea of the size of the (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Ship: Harlequin

(...) Bonktron laid the benchmark. If you build in that style in the same week, it's within context to reference it in any critique. I'm a stickler for accuracy. That's Bonktron with a 'B' and pete with a 'p'. gods peed. pete.w (20 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Birth of a New Faction: Rising Suns

Nice models and nice storyboard. I think it might take you a while to tell the complete saga! We need to know how his father died, why he is fed up with the direction the Jade Empire is taking, and most importantly, how is he going to save them from (...)   Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

Wow I can't believe I didn't see this while lurking back then! A truly amazing CS MOC. Uber-thanks to Dave for bringing up the thread! (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hi there semi-lurker here. Good show, great MOCs. You are helping restore my faith in this News Group :). (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Birth of a New Faction: Rising Suns

(...) Very cool all around. The weapons bay door that entirely blocks the pilot's view is a bit questionable, but you can't have everything, eh? I love the hidden weapons on both ships. Great detailing on the probe as well. All of the models are (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Nelson, This is great stuff. It definitely does not disappoint. Your attention to detail is especially commendable. I really like the way the 4 vigs combine to create a single bulding that also seems to conform to the "classic space" guidelines. is (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Carefree Party Liner (with wings)

(...) Nicely microscaled, Allister. I really like the inverted curves where the wings meet the body. I also like how you've captured the sense of the mysterious blue liquid starting to seep out at the front, though I believe the top should also be (...)   Re: Carefree Party Liner (with wings)

(...) Shame :-). (...) I think you've made a mistake, surely the Sanitron vessel should be women only, secondly the top should be a glass dome housing a great big park. This park should have many paths, and they should all be crowded with women on (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Carefree Party Liner (with wings)

A party vessel? Hitchiker's Guide, perhaps? That's the first thing I thought of anyways. Very nice, what better way to keep the peace than to hold an interstellar party aboard a magnificent looking vessel? I especially like the definite separation (...)   Carefree Party Liner (with wings)

First things first. This is NOT a Bonktron model. It's from a sister faction, the Sanitrons. The Carefree Party Liner plys the spaceways in a state of perpetual celebration. Individual partygoers come and go via the many docking ports in the wing, (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

Indeed! A very cool MOC. Reminds me of a Snowspeeder and the Earth fighters from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Uber-cheesy show, but very snazzy ship designs. Dave S. (20 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)
