hey all,
I’m *VERY* sorry to bump this up but I realised a bit of x-posting was what I
forgot - and I’m not a member, lol. it is true though, that when people don’t
recieve any kind of feedback (positive or otherwise, in my case I don’t case
which) they are less inclined to build more models and post them.
I don’t rate my ship above anyone elses, I actually think it’s a dodgy model
that needs a lot of work - but I’m not inclined to do that work to it if I don’t
get some ideas, feedback about what exactly is wrong with it.
I suspect most people ae the same - we post to get feedback, not to watch as our
effort gets lost in a sea of posts... I don’t think anyone ever expects to get
100+ posts in response to a model, I think most are happy just to get 1 or 2.
but it is that feedback that we crave on lugnet, and it’s what makes this a
friendly newsgroup.
I will admit to having been a lurker for a while now, but I’ve come out of my
shell, hopefully to join .space, as I have done a few times before with other
groups but each time, I seem to be ignored (maybe I should just creep back into
loc.au??)
sometimes, when this sort of thing happens, I wonder if there is some sort of
“ignore matthew” blanket on lugnet? most of the time I post a model, it gets
ignored rather spectacularly (or maybe I just pick bad times to post.) sorry to
vent like this, and even sorrier to reply to my own post as that is just sad.
P.S, sorry for the long post, I needed to vent.
