How exactly does one make the hose thingie bend when using Ldraw?

I've tried different approaches to making the 2 hose pieces bend in one or many
places when I'm doing models in Ledit, but I just can't do it.

On the "insert Piece" menu where you can scroll down to each piece, it sais
"open file for instructions"...huh? what file? where?

When one little hose compiles about 80% of the model, this little problem
cannot be overlooked.

I am very confuserated with this and would appreciate any and all help.

(...) This refers to the source file for the part. You would typically look for it in the PARTS directory under your LDraw root directory. (...) There exist some tools which can be used to model the flexible hose in LDraw. I've made one here (scroll (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad)
