  Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

(...) haha - the round inverted slopes have haunted me. I ordered some on bricklink ages ago - and they didn't show up in a fluke. So I ordered some more and the same thing happened. I got sick of waiting and decided to photograph it without them - (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Kogeru

(URL) PicLink will work when BS folder is moderated. A few deep links below. Ladies and gents, this is Kogeru. I'm afraid the mech doesn't picture that well, IMO, and so I'm afraid you're going to have to take my word for it that it looks better in (...)   Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Simply beautiful. Saw it on Brickshelf, and just had to comment. It's very understated; the simple gray belies all that snotwork. I only have a few nitpicks: that landing gear could stand to be a bit more refined, and you should get one of those (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Omicron Civilian Space Liner

I figured it was time to start making some civilian ships to work into my space fleet and here is the first big one, a civilian space liner and another resident of the New Omicron Republic: (URL) bricklink folder: (URL) details: -faster than light (...)   OSS Audrey

I finally got around to taking some pictures of a bunch of MOCs sitting on my shelves. The first is the OSS Audrey, a mid-size science cruiser serving the New Omicron Republic (my little Lego universe) (URL) Bricklink folder: (URL) details: -crew of (...)   Re: MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

I think you're right. After looking at the NASA pic again, and yours, I think it is more like what you have done. The first pic you posted, though, looks like a rectangular brick sticking straight out from the SM. My bad! James (20 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

(...) Oh, I see. In that photo, it looks like I used a 1x1 brick sticking straight out. Actually, it's a 1x2 inverted slope, with the sloping side facing the camera. That matches what I think I see in the photos on this page: (URL) are you saying (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

(...) What I find interesting it that on April 12, 1961, was the day the first man went into Space (and April 12, 1981 was the first launch of the Space Shuttle) -Scott Lyttle (20 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: BrickNebula PodCast

Dl'd and listened to it, pretty fun listenin'. I look forward to future segments! -Stefan- (20 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

You've captured the look and the way the photo looks, too. One nit-pick - the rectangular object isn't orthogonal to the long axis of the SM, but parallel to it (extends forward). Nice work! James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

On April 13, 1970, an oxygen tank exploded on the Apollo 13 service module, which was on its way to the moon. The explosion blew the cover off the craft, stirred its innards a bit, bled away all the reserve oxygen and most of the power, and nearly (...) (20 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: And now, for another theme bastardization : : Track MOW Ship

Quite sweet, this. Personally, I would say this belongs in both space and trains, as it has a bit of both. Great detail, great moc. I'm jealous of your amount of replies, my posts never get any. :) Congrats on the first "spaceish" model. -Josh (20 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)
