(...) Thanks Kenn! At first when building this MOC I was only using white and greys. Later I tryed to throw in some color bits. I tryed mixing some yellow and dark red on the hull, but I didn't like it. The easy way to do it was to separate these (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks Jason! About the bend in the front: I didn't try to fill the gap between the 2 parts because I want it to be able to open. I guess that's why it's not looking as "clean" as it could. For the engines, they are the part of that MOC I (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) David, As the others have said, Welcome & Wow. I saw a good amount of your gallery the day it was posted to the weblog on Zemi.net and it's great to place a (full) name and person with the creations. I had a post written and ready to submit on (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I quite like the shape of this MOC (I'll state that I do like the bend in the front), and especially the shaping underneath. The gun is good looking, and the MOC overall does a great job of forming an interesting shape without being too parts (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Ouch, that play on words is almost painful. Seriously though, thanks for your comments. The details and characters were indeed fun, though some of the construction became very unwieldy. I'm glad to have posted it, at any rate. Kenn (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Hi, Thanks for the comments. It's nice to hear constructive criticism. I think that you are right about some details like the above separating a good MOC from a masterpiece. Some of these I was aware of (if I'd been willing to put in the time, (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

What is a good way to contact Brickshelf members? I like to digitize (ldraw/povray) other people's work, and sometimes that requires asking for more detailed pictures. I'm posting this here because I don't really know anyone in other newsgroups or (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) JP, I hadn't heard about the "Group MOC Study", but I think it's an excellent idea. I like your interpretation. Nice work on the landing gear and squezing the figs inside. I can't say I'm super keen on the bend in the front, but I don't really (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) <snip> These are very impressive mecha. I'm amazed at how quickly a newcomer can turn out some quality models. I look forward to seeing how your style evolves... Later, Chris (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
