hey all
Kamon corps newest starship, the Xeon class short range fighter
while still in the devolopment and testing phase the new saucer like ship shows
promises in the short range classifcation of fighters
The Xeon class starfighter, a one man fighter, has a single wrap around engine,
two fusion/antimatter/matter cores( one for sub-light and one for faster than
light), a highly advanced sensor equipment for locating cloaked fighters. The
landing gear( very weak and for emergancy use only) is not use in the mother
ship, it has a harness type holder and can be sandwiched with more fighters for
maximum capacity. The starboard side of the Xeon sports two antimatter
projectile launchers with a range of 50-100 km. Besides the APLs the Xeon has
four light plasma weapons in the 650 K/w range. Expected release: unkown
The Xeon was mostly a study in SNOT, and those saucer sections proved to be a
pain in the butt to get like that

| (...) Oh hey...that's an interesting design. Using the natural shape of the saucer sections to create the intakes works well here...avoids that unfinished look that can some times happen. I like the scale of it too...a fighter with some muscle (...) (20 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
