Man I love this bike and I love Akira. After I built it from your
instructions I checked out some pictures of real life proto type versions on
the web. It looks like you did a good job of getting some of the details and
angels down in your version.
I was also inspired to make my own bike (I've been wanting to make a
bike/aliens style apc with big FAT technic tires for a while and this is
sort of a mix between that and your bike).... I was building yours and for
some reason thought of using the 30.4 x 14 technic tires and hubs for
wheels. I went ahead and built yours normally but tonight started on my own
bike.
The bike looks fairly different but I've been intentionally designing it
with a neo tokyo/blade runner look. I actually made it the same length as
yours without thinking about it.
I like to think that its by another manufacturer.  : )

Thanks again for the cool bike and the inspiration!
