Of course, but I really like the look of these. I figured its kosher since
its not a structural necessity. Id put it on the level of cutting flex
tubing or pneumatic hose; it looks pretty but I dont absolutely need it.

Im not sure Id put it on that level. Maybe one could argue that about
lightsaber rods... theyd obviously be very useful in varying lengths. Ive
toyed with the idea of cutting them up - although thats as far as I got!

Oh, Im not really worried, just a bit confused as to motive :-) Actually, the
goblet base with a bit of rod sticking out would be useful (although of course
illegal).
