Well, this may or may not qualify by the GA’s rule of only unpublished MOCs (as most of the SeaLug’gers have already seen this one), but as I’ve never published any of my ships to any of the Lego sites, maybe I’ll get away with a technicality.

At any rate, I present the DragonFly. Here’s a snippet from the brochure: “The DragonFly represents the exotic in luxury vacationing. Capable of interstellar flight utilizing one of the smallest hyper jump engines to date, the DragonFly will accommodate a family of 5 and the required gear for a trip to almost any habitable planet within known space. Unlike other vacation cruisers, the DragonFly is capable of controlled atmospheric flight, and with it’s panoramic cockpit, everyone gets a stellar view of the passing scenery. Once at your destination, the included 1 man skip sled is available for short trips to the corner store or fast jaunts accross the country side. Available in a variety of colors, this one pictured is Glamour Grey trimmed with Yastific Yellow.”

It has such an unusual shape, what with the upward curve of the rear wings and the downward slope of the front wings and the engine pod/greeble things on the ends of the back wings. I love the playability you threw in (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
