Lots of snippage
Personally, I did not like this reimagined version. I much prefer the old story
of why the Cylons were enemies. You can read the history on any number of
websites. I did not like what they did to the Galactica. The original had a lot
of outer surface details that gave it its own character.
It did do well in the ratings. However, a well informed source with inside info
at the Scifi channel has reported that a continuing series based on this new
version is NOT going to happen. I do not know this person or his sources
personally, but his info has always been accurate.

There is still a chance that a series based on the original BSG will come to
fruition, but the right people at the right time must come together to make it
work. And the studio executives need to get their collective heads out of their
collective butts.
