Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Gil Shaw
Look! Up in the sky! It's a peregrin! It's a maple leaf! No it's a... (2 URLs) GUARDIAN!> Let a Canuck know what you tink. Maple syrup, -Gil Kudos to those out there that can name the inspiration of both ship and pilot names (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Ryan Wood
(...) OoooooOOOOOoo... "zippy". That's what this says to me. A speedy, agile little fighter. Studless, and with a catchy color scheme. Sweet work, Gil. --Ryan W. (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Many thanks Ryan...it does carry out daily straffing attacks on my dog..much to his shegrin. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Trevor Pruden
(...) Isn't the ship themed after a canadian comic book hero, while the pilot is named after a past prime minister? Could be wrong. ~Trev (fellow Canuck) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Gil Shaw
(...) One point for the comic book hero and half point for the prime minister...although that would have been perhaps even cooler if it were named after John A. For full ding dings, see Adrian's post. :) Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Adrian Drake
(...) Nifty little ship. This is what I like to see from the Crimson Skies Fad: Stuff that looks nothing like modern airplanes (nothing against Travis and many of the others posted, they're just not fanciful enough for my tastes.) Oh, and the (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Gil Shaw
(...) despite any efforts otherwise. Ding ding ding!! Correct on all points! Receive your maple syrup lolly and beaver pelt jacket as you bask in the glory of being Canuck For a Day! Cheers, -Gil (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Keith Goldman
(...) Gil, Great addition to the crimson skies stew. The first thing that came to mind was a racer, must be the color scheme. It reminded me of those prop-driven air-races where they buzz around those red/white towers. There is so much to like about (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Paul Baulch
(...) Very cool design, I especially like the landing gear solution. I think the colour scheme is a bit extreme, though - maybe the gun barrels and exhaust pipes should have been grey or silver? Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 26-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Gil Shaw
(...) Thank ye, Paul! Yes...those skiis have bailed me out a couple times. Interesting that you mention the colour of the cannons and exhaust nozzles...they were originally grey...then drk grey....then black. In the end, I decided to stick with the (...)         Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Jamie Neufeld
(...) Well from one Canuck to another, she's a fine plane. Nice and small, which compliments your building style. Looks almost like it could fit snuggly under a zepplin for some air support. I think I agree with Paul in the guns being a diffrent (...) (21 years ago, 26-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: The Guardian —Gil Shaw
(...) Under a zepplin you say? Hmmmm. Thanks Jamie...the colour scheme is indeed over the top, as is my love of Trudeau, curling and snowshoes! Just felt like being zany with this one. One day I was thinking of doing a Guardian MkII...a more (...) (21 years ago, 26-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
