The Unknown Division Proudly Presents...
The F/A-49 Space Superiority Fighter, dubbed “The Gymnogene.”
The Gymnogene is well adapted to combat situations where the conditions aren’t
ideal. Its small, maneuverable body allows it to move quickly through asteroid
belts and large, dense space battles. This allows the Gymnogene to search out
its prey in even the most intense situations.
The Gymnogene is armed with wingtip ion cannons, side mounted concussion missile
launchers, and an interior web-firing laser array. The wings can be positioned
by the pilot to deliver massive directional changes in atmospheric flight,
making the craft deadly in any situation.
Two ventral ion drives propel the ship, allowing it to attain incredibly high
sub-light speeds. The rear storage area is usually used to store consumables and
a repair kit, should the pilot require them on long flights.
