Nice work Gil, you’ve really captured the genre-mix well. I dig the skimmer..the brown saddlebag/backpack is a great color contrast and really makes it work. The minifig is damn funny and has that great cross between western and post apocalypic look. I will say that the winchester might look better than the blunderbuss, but the brown color is cool. It actually reminded me of a storyline in Heavy Metal magazine, but I can’t remember the name...anyway great job, and I’d love to see it in context...some kind of techno western town, with the skimmer tied up in front of a salloon.

Many thanks Keith....the saddlebag is what really cliched it for me as well. Funny you mention the longarm...I originally had the 30-30 for him, but when I mounted it on the clip, it looked too at odds with the angle of the steed. The blunderbuss has that nice angled stockgrip...voila.

I remember a couple stories from both Heavy Metal and Marvel’s large adult pulp..Epic that used techwest. Love it.

As said, I hope this is the start of something good.

Cheers, -Gil
