What do you do when your scientists are sub-par and resouces are limited?
Spies!
And Lord knows the Eastern Block (especially the Jr. Marshalate) has plenty of
those. Constantly searching through PCS and LSF transmissions trying to find
designs and schematics that will give little Albert W. Einstein (Einsteins less
than capable son) a boost.
But despite the questionable approach, they do produce gold.
ZOG-15b Espionage Fighter
A modified version of the highly successful ZOG-15 fighter. The Jr.Marshal saw this design as the perfect espionage craft.
Small enough and fast enough to evade most enemy fighters, the Jr.Marshal
replaced its armaments with scanning sensors and cameras, and Infrared Sensor
jammers. The ship isnt completely defenseless, though. It features a fairly
powerful Gamma-Burst Pulse, which can disable enemy weapon systems within a
given radius. Although the damage isnt permanent, it is enough to allow the
ZOG-15 to zip away.
VLAD Fighter
The Versatile Long-range ADvanced Fighter (Commonly called the Vampire) is
a highly successful anti-detection fighter. Based off of stolen plans for the
Bat Fighter, the VLAD
features sloping edges and a sleek body that resist Infrared and RADAR sensors.
The VLAD is powered by two sub-fusion engines that give it dramatic acceleration
and decceleration abilities. The VLAD also features landing gear for greater
versatility.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

| (...) (*applause*) SLICK! I like how you modified those frap cannons on the sides and turned them into frap cannon fins. I also like how it stays small although the engines are beefed up some more. Hey Lenny, you just gave me a great building (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
