The model of the Korov III in this post:

brought back an interesting memory: When Space 1999 was on the air
back in the 70's, my brother and I used to watch it all the time! It
was probably my first exposure to science fiction (before Star Wars,
even!). Of course back then we didn't have the types of pieces
available now, so we built Eagles out of basic bricks. When I saw
the above post, I pulled out one of my bulk tubs and threw together a
few. You can see them at:

The red and blue ones are like our old versions. The yellow one is
a 'mark 2' version with a sloped command module. It's a simple design,
but we had fleets of them for space battles. ;-)
