Au contraire, mon Legomaniac. :-, Space vehicles don't necessarily need to
look "solid" in order to be structurally sound. An example would be the Lunar
Lander, which endured some significant g's while landing. Another example,
perhaps better, is yer typical suspension bridge, capable of holding many large
masses with minimal bulk. The appearance is an illusion; the real
weight-bearing structure is within. Meditate upon this wisdom now.

Your ship looks like more of a lo-G glider to my eye. I tend to build mine SOLID (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
