Another (nearly) new MOC. I built the original prototype version for a
WamaLUG BrikWars game way back in 2000 (the "big explosion" game). I

Manufactured by Aérospatiale de Valles Marineris SA, the DAV-4E is a
VTOL fighter/interceptor ideally suited for use in moderate to thin
atmospheres.

I was trying to develop a streamlined shape with little more than a
cockpit attached to oversized rotating engine pods; like something I
recalled from an old G-Police ad. I needed something fairly small that
would fit in a carrier I was tinkering with (and eventualy scrapped).

I hope I haven't mangled the French names too severely. Incidentally,
DAV stands for Décollage et Atterrissage Verticaux, which Sherlock
tells me is the French translation of VTOL.
