Well, inspired by the prospect of a "brickwars" event here in New England, I
built a first draft of a mech:

He still needs more weapons (and that laser arm needs some improvement) but I'm
pretty happy with him overall... Thanks go to Colin for the cool hand design
and his general mecha tips!

| Dave, It looks great! This will definitely look nice wreaking havoc everywhere :) I loved the great range of flexibility it exhibits, and some of the poses! I've been a big fan of Colin's site for a while now, and I've been wanting to try out some of his techniques, but unfortunately I have a rather limited selection of Technic parts (at least, I think I do, but then again, I still need (...) | I'll add my superlatives to everyone else's: Stunning! Cool! Marvelous! The side-rotation of the hip is especially nice - as well as the four fingered hand (that's Colin's?) But I'm *very* disappointed in the fencing en garde pose - the back foot is (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
