At approximately oh five thirty six on star date 376.4, the United Systems
Empire ship USE Liberty limped into a remote repair facility outside
Subsector 7 of the Aterimus system. The USE Liberty had been performing a
routine exploration of the system when she was suddenly attacked and
infested with squid type creatures which we have now dubbed “Glibberdorks”.
These creatures not only managed to create havoc with the shipboard systems,
but they also eradicated half of the USE Liberty’s fifty crew.

Subsequent repairs of the ship have revealed that the creatures were
heterozygous, and had the ability to lay eggs and reproduce. Approximately
five dead and four live specimens of the Glibberdorks were taken off of the
USE Liberty of which two were sent to Research Facility Inchrane 1 located
in orbit around the planet J’hoc.

What follows is a pictorial interview with head science officer J. Irving
Diederson and his assistant Susie Bekerson.

Please note that these creatures are highly dangerous, if you encounter one
on your ship eradicate it quickly. I can only hope to god that we don’t have
an epidemic on our hands.
