For the last few months, my Gundam obsession has caused me to design many
LEGO mobile suit carriers, to scale with the 1/144 Bandai model kits and
Mobile Suit in Action figures. My current attempt is my best so far. It
started off as the Star Wars droid transport. I replaced the Battle Droid
rack with a trailer capable of carrying 4 suits. It slides out for
deployment and slides in for transport. On one side I added a double
barreled cannon made from the Star Wars cannon pieces and some dark grey
cylinders. In place of that on the other side I added a small black antenna.
I also changed thr front, adding bits like the hatch piece from the AT-ST.
I'm pretty pleased with the result. I realised that such a transport would
not be suited for combat, even with the defense cannon. So I created a small
hover-tank to provide support. They look good side-by-side. I hope to get
pictures of them soon.Has anyone else made any MS carriers or any other kind
of sci-fi/space carriers?
