Sorry I haven't been here in a while, my website doesn't work and either
does my brickshelf gallery (56K modem will not upload fast enough and the
thing just quits. I might be getting a sattelite connections soon to replace
that. And I can't get cable, they don't have it in the rural areas of
Illinois). Anyway though, I built a small pirate star fighter and got an
idea. How about a new contest (Do you do prizes here?), build a pirate ship.
Two classes, Star Fighter (Mini-Fig) and a Frigate (A corvette class to
some, well, you'll see).
Rules for StarFighter Class:
Must be less then 40 "Studs" long, 40 "Studs" Tall, and 40 "Studs" wide(The
small circle things on top, erm, sorry, I need a LEGO dictionary) long.
Must fit a normal Mini-fig.
Optional:Can have a backround story/info.
Must have closed cockpit like it will go in space.
Will be judged on...
Design
Colour
Detail
Parts Usage
Originality
Rules for Frigate Class:
Must be less then 100 "Studs" long, 50 "Studs" tall, and 50 "Studs" Wide.
Must fit at least three Mini-Figs.
Must have bridge/cockpit.
Must have sleeping and eating facilities.
Optional:Can have backround story/info.
Will be judged on...
Design
Colour
Detail
Parts Usage
Originality
Interior Desgin
General Rules:
Please refrain from rude behavior, language, and content in your creations
(You can have up to two in StarFighter group, one in frigate)
Must do with space pirates.
Must enter contest to count creation.
Must be original and not stolen from other peoples'/companys' creations.

Typically the satellite is used only for downloading; it's a lot easier to listen for a satellite signal than to transmit loudly enough for the satellite to hear. More typically, you'll still use a phone line and (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)
