Well, I wish it was <click click> of a camera already, as we are now less
than three weeks away from the end of the BT1 contest. But unfortunately,
it is still the <click click> of LEGO Bricks (although that is a nice sound
too!).
I've been distracted with holiday events, work, other hobbies (darn them!),
and the fact that my cat has been eating my Town display. To keep him out
of the LEGO room of my apartment, I have been using an indoor radio fence.
I hate to resort to electric shock treatment, but after experiencing the zap
twice he stayed clear of that room for almost a year. ...Then the other
day, the batteries in the collar died, and it took him all of twenty minutes
to figure out he could sneak in and start rampaging. Smart bugger...
I also haven't built a Space MOC in over five years, and with the exception
of my Class 5 ( http://www.valyance.com/home/lego/space/ ), it hasn't been
since childhood (1980's). Nonetheless, in my BT MOC thus far, I have come
up with some interesting uses for LEGO elements that I previously would
never have thought of. I have to work out a small structural issue though,
and then find time for photos, scans, etc...
Will Hendo finish his BT MOC in time for the contest deadline? Will his
photo savvy friend be available in time to develop pics? Will he have time
to scan and post? Or will the black furry feline find his way to knock the
spacecraft from the worktable while Hendo is at work?
Only time will tell how our story is resolved.... :)
-Hendo
PS To all who have posted entries to the contest thus far -Great Job. My
lack of posting does not mean I lack in appreciation of your work! =]
