Nice design. I haven't been successful building craft with living
quarters.
In case you don't know, there are trans blue canopies with click hinges
in the LEGO Alpha Team sets. The use of trans blue panels and trans
dark gray canopies together don't bother me.
As for the engines, if you want to beef them up some, you might want to
try using the hard, hollow wheels. I've used that technique in my
Starmage model [1], and I know Mark Sandlin and a few others have also.
There are other methods that you can use.
Again, nice design. It's your model, build it the way you want (my
attitude toward building).
