They use electromagnetic fields to propell a projectile at high
speeds. I've been meaning to put up a tech page on my site, just
haven't gotten to it yet.

Nope, the FAW- and AA- designated units are fixed-wing. Well, fixed at
the shoulder, so there is some movement, around the x and y (but not z)
axes.

I originally intended to have a carrier similar to that idea, but with
hooks from an overhead rail, much like the static-line rail in
sky-diving. That's why I built the original BA-13 Nodatchi with the
