  12x Scale 1620 Astro Dart

I've finaly posted pictures of my 12x scale 1620 Astro Dart. I built this sculpture for Brickfest 2004. I took pictures of it shortly after, but it's taken till now for me to post them, unfortunately long after I've taken it apart. But such is the (...) (...) (snip) (...) Hi Chris! Love the Viper! And everyone is already wanting you to do a Cylon Raider - I'd like to see you build the other peripheral ships of the ragtag fleet. And while you are at it, how about a Space:1999 Eagle and Hawk:-) ? Joe (...) (19 years ago, 27-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Hello Darrell! Thanks for the praises! I don't think using Bionicle pieces is cheating. Admitted, I don't like Bionicle and I think these prefabricated huge form parts are not what we would like to see, but sometimes, these just provide the shape (...)   Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Hello and thanks for the comment! :-) I am already working on a raider but I find the shape which is elliptic very hard. I have several drafts and still try to find the perfect solution. :-) Cheers, Chris (19 years ago, 27-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Hey Chris! The Galactica is great but the Viper, man, the Viper is just aces! I'm going to build a few of those right now! When will you do a Cylon raider? :-) Dave S. "Christopher Deck" <deck1 [AT] web [DOT] de> wrote in message (...) (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

(...) Neat models! My students already do the Star Wars minis in CAD; gotta show them your BG minis too.. Darrell ps I know it's kind of cheating, and I'm not sure about the scale, but couldn't you use one of these "hand" pieces (in bley if it was (...) (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Wicked cool! I am a big fan of the look (if not the writing, and acting) of the old BG and the viper especially is amazing. The use of the screwdriver for a laser cannon ... mounted with the clip... just fantastic! Gotta go make one, thanks for the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Thank you for the comments Bruce and Kelly! You're right, a Cylon Raider there must be. ;-) I will give it a try! Cheers, Chris (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Hey Chris, Just saw these on Brickshelf. Outstanding! I especially love the Viper. I agree with Kelly, all you need now is a Cylon Raider. Hmmm . . . puts on thinking cap . . . mentally rummages through bin of plates . . . considers some (...) (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica Minis!

(...) Wow, those are great! I'm going to build those tonight. My kids will love them. I've always loved the ships of Galactica, it's good to see these minis. Any thoughts about doing Cylon raiders? (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Battlestar Galactica Minis!

Hello altogether! Some may know me from many MINI Star Wars models. But today's post is a little different. I recently watched some classic episodes of Battlestar Galactica, an old SciFi series.   H5N1 attacking!

Hello! When I found the remaining red Viking horn from the Longboat 7018 (the extra part) I thought it would fit for a beak of a bird.   Re: A dark blue starfighter

(...) Nice starfighter. That's a seamless job of fitting various shaped pieces together. The resulting shape is awesome. I almost missed that even the small wingtips are angled to fit in. Neat.
