I only met Travis once, but I talked to him online on, at least, a weekly basis, if not much more regularly. He was a good guy. This is a tough bit of news for anyone to swallow. I always have difficulty coping with the loss of someone I've grown to respect and this is tougher than usual given Travis' age. Damn, damn, damn... And so young too. I had the privelege of meeting Travis this year at BF. This is sooooo sad. I can't find the words... I'd rather it had been me. I too have just heard this by phone. There are not many of us, Travis was one of us. He was one of the best of us. I spoke to Travis on the phone just two weeks ago. MichLUG will be displaying at the Toy & Hobby Expo in Novi, MI for a second year running. In addition to a town/train layout, which we displayed last year, we will also be showing a Moonbase layout.
